Dry Stone Walling Course In 2010 we ran a Dry Stone Walling Course at the Centre. Eight volunteers worked with Norman from the Dry Stone Walling Association to build a very attractive and rather large raised bed. This has been filled with soil and has since been planted up with bedding plants by our gardening team. A lot of hard work went into this project by those involved and the results have transformed the ground near the stackyard into a more attractive area. We intend to run another couple of onsite projects using the skills learned on the training day, the exact dates of which are still to be announced.
