NEW DEAL PROGRAMME
The Ecology Centre works in partnership with Triage to provide New Deal Placements for people who have been unemployed for over 6 months.

PROJECT SCOTLAND
The Ecology Centre has places for
16 - 25 year olds under the Project Scotland scheme.
Placements run for a minimum of three months to a maximum six months.
Claire Oliver, pictured, completed her placement with ourselves in September 2010, and left us with the following comments

ENVIRO-MENTORS
Enviro-mentors are people who are 50 and over, who would like to volunteer and try new activites, develop their skills and knowledge, socialise with others and improve their health and well being.
We are looking for volunteers from all backgrounds and hope to provide activities to suit everyone.

FRIDAY VOLUNTEERING
Do you have a few hours to spare on a Friday? If so, come along and join us on our Volunteer Day. Every week is different, volunteer tasks can involve working individually or as part of a team. The whole year round, the beautiful grounds at the Ecology Centre need to be maintained, the grass needs mowed, paths weeded, plants need attention. In winter, paths require woodchip, trees require planting and benches need painting. The opportunities here are varied and fun. So if you fancy getting out into the fresh air and meeting new people, give us a call.
