The site at The Ecology Centre is open to the public at all times and is free to visit.
Follow our network of paths and enjoy the exciting diversity of wild plants and wildlife on the site. Our Access for All Path is now open, complete with resting places and a solid surface for wheelchairs and the less mobile.
Guided tours for groups are also available.
A spur route from the Fife Coastal Path runs through the grounds and connects with other walks in the area. A walk here can be a gentle stroll or part of a bigger plan. You can bring your own food and visit our picnic facilities by the loch.
On clear days our viewpoint offers a panorama out over the Forth as far as the Bass Rock.
Features of the site include:-
- Herb, sensory, wildlife and vegetable gardens
- The What on Earth demonstration area which shows how we can decrease our impact on the planet
- Earthship Fife which is a demonstration of a sustainable building run independently by Sustainable Communities Initiatives.;
- a pond and marsh area
- Community Woodlands
