Our Tool Shed volunteers have recently completed their largest ever tool refurbishment shipment. The shipping boxes contained over 165 tools, 2 Singer treadle bases and 8 Singer sewing machines.
The tools were worked on by all our volunteers including the volunteers who attend our dementia friendly Tool Shed sessions on a Thursday.
Tool Shed Officer Lee Brown said "we had a very short period of time to complete these kits prior to shipping to Global Concerns Trust and their onward journey to Malawi. However, as usual my trusted team of volunteers took on the task and completed the shipment in record time. From a small shed in Fife our volunteers are changing the lives of others around the world - it's fantastic!"
Well done everyone.
The Tool Shed are always looking for any unwanted tools for refurbishment. If you're having a clear out, don't tip them or skip them, donate them to The Ecology Centre.
