About the event

This event will be held outside at the Ecology Centre under a gazebo on Wednesday the 21nd of September. Attendees will be shown around the site inclduing the Seagass Processing Unit (SPU) to better understand the seagrass processing phase of opperations, after the tour attendees will then be brought back to the centre to commence seagrass trimming. The Restoration Forth team have recently returned from Ornkey with plenty of seagrass reproductive shoots, which is the biological material in the SPU. To aid the processing, it is advantageous to reduce the amount of material in the tanks, so we are reaching out to our community and volunteers to come along and get stuck in with seagrass snipping. All attendees will get the opportunity to meet the team and learn of their recent experiences along with gaining seagrass processing experience.

Lunch, coffee or tea will be provided during the event, so your efforts will be rewarded.

This event is free but we are kindly accepting donations.
