In partnership with Cash for Kids, we are pleased to launch our Family Emergency Grant to support our local families who are struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Who can apply?

Families on low incomes may be eligible to receive support towards food, gas and electricity.

Families in receipt of the following will be eligible for the above grant:

You can apply whether you're in work or not, if you or your partner are getting one or more of the following benefits: 

​

• Universal Credit where “take-home pay” does not exceed £1,416 on the last payment statement.

• Child or Working Tax Credit with an annual income of £17,00 or less

• income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) 

• Pension Credit 

• Income Support 

• income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

This is open to families with children under the age of 18 who live within the KY1 to KY7 area

Application Process

We aim to assess all applications within 2 weeks of receipt, and we will notify you of our decision by email. Evidence may be required as part of your application, and you should respond to emails within 2 working days.
